Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) on Tuesday (March 11) announced that its wholly owned stepdown subsidiary, Adani Solar Energy AP Eight Private Limited, has commissioned a 250 MW solar power project in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh.”Adani Solar Energy Ap Eight Private Limited, Wholly-owned stepdown subsidiary of the company, has commissioned the solar power project of 250 MW at Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh,” Adani Green Energy said in a regulatory filing.
With this addition, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy capacity has risen to 12,591.1 MW. The decision to commission the plant from March 8, 2025, was finalized at 6:18 p.m. on March 11, 2025, based on the necessary regulatory clearances.

“With the commissioning of this plant, AGEL’s total operational renewable generation capacity has increased to 12,591.1 MW. Based on the relevant clearances, it was decided at 06.18 p.m. on March 11, 2025, to commission the plant from March 08, 2025,” it added.Adani Green Energy’s Q3 consolidated net profit surged by more than 85% to ₹474 crore compared to ₹256 crore in the same period last year. The pure-play renewable firm from billionaire Gautam Adani-led Adani Group’s revenue from operations also saw an increase of 2.3% to ₹2,365 crore in Q3FY25 compared to ₹2,311 crore in the year-ago period.

The earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA), however, dropped 4% to ₹1,601 crore compared to ₹1,666 crore in the previous year. Consequently, the EBITDA margin also declined to 67.7% from the 72.1% recorded in the same period last year.

Shares of Adani Green Energy Ltd ended at ₹825.05, down by ₹0.25, or 0.030%, on the BSE.
