On the morning of November 7, she reportedly failed to respond to her alarm clock. Later in the day, her friends checked on her and discovered that she had died in her sleep, as per TOI.
Health issues prior to death According to her cousin Chaitanya YVK, who launched a GoFundMe raiser from Denton, Texas, Raji had been battling acute cough and chest pain for last two to three days before her death.
Recounting her aspirations, he said that Raji had moved to the US with the hope of transforming her family’s financial future.

“She was a bright, hopeful soul who dreamed of helping her parents continue their farming journey,” he wrote in the fundraiser.
Family reliant on farming, loans add to burden
Raji belonged to a farming household in Karmechedu village in Bapatla. Her family’s income depends solely on agricultural land, livestock, and seasonal crops.
As the youngest child, she was determined to secure a stable career to support her parents, who were reportedly managing her education loan.
Indian community steps in
Members of the Indian diaspora in Texas have come forward offering support to accelerate the repatriation process. The Indian consulate is also expected to extend assistance with the formalities.
Meanwhile, the cause of death is not known yet. The medical authorities in the US have initiated the examinations to determine the exact cause, as per TOI.
