Anthem Biosciences shares list at 27% premium on bourses

Shares of Anthem Biosciences Ltd. made a decent Dalal Street debut on Monday, July 21. The company’s shares listed at 723.10 on the BSE, reflecting a premium of 26.85% over the issue price of 570.Similarly on the NSE, Anthem Biosciences shares listed at 723.05, a premium of 26.85% over the issue price.
Anthem Biosciences IPO listing also came almost in line with grey market estimates, as the company’s shares were quoted trading at a premium of 31.40% ahead of their debut.
Narendra Solanki of Anand Rathi Shares and Stock Brokers advised investors allotted shares to consider holding them for long-term growth. “The issue is fairly priced, supported by strong growth, industry-leading margins, and steady profitability,” he said.
The ₹3,395 crore IPO was entirely an offer for sale (OFS), which was open for subscription between July 14 and July 16.The IPO witnessed robust demand, with an overall subscription of 67.42 times. The Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) segment was subscribed 192.80 times, Non-Institutional Investors (NII) 44.70 times, and the retail portion 5.98 times.

Anthem Biosciences had raised ₹1,016 crore from anchor investors.

The company will not receive any from the public issue. All the funds, excluding offer expenses, will go to selling shareholders.
