Power Boost: Aston Martin unveiled the Vantage S, a track-focused version of its entry-level sports car. The Vantage S features a Mercedes-derived 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, now producing 680hp, a 15hp increase over the standard Vantage. Torque remains at 800Nm, peaking between 3,000-6,000rpm. The power is sent to the rear wheels through an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox.

Quicker Acceleration: The Vantage S accelerates from 0-100kph in 3.4 seconds, 0.1 seconds faster than the standard Vantage. This improvement comes from a more responsive drive-by-wire throttle system and optimised launch control. The 0-200kph time remains 10.1 seconds, and the top speed is unchanged at 325kph, ensuring the Vantage S retains its high-performance edge.

Chassis Tweaks: Aston Martin recalibrated the Vantage S’ adaptive dampers to enhance front-end cornering feel and response. Rear spring stiffness is reduced for better low-speed ride comfort. The rear transaxle mounts are 10 percent softer, improving powertrain control. These changes make the Vantage S more agile and refined, balancing performance with everyday usability.

Direct Steering: The Vantage S’ rear subframe is directly mounted to the body, replacing rubber bushes, for a sharper steering feel and agility. Suspension camber, caster, and toe settings are fine-tuned to improve front-end grip under high lateral loads. These adjustments ensure precise dynamic balance, making the car more responsive in corners.

Exterior Updates: The Vantage S features ‘S’ badging on the fenders, aero blades in the bonnet ducts, and a full-width decklid spoiler. Optional 21-inch satin black alloy wheels with red accents and bronze brake callipers are available. These design elements distinguish the Vantage S from the standard model, enhancing its sporty appearance.

Increased Downforce: The new decklid spoiler generates 44kg of rear downforce at top speed. Aero updates to the front and underbody add 67kg, totalling 111kg of downforce at 325kph. These aerodynamic improvements enhance stability and grip, ensuring the Vantage S performs confidently at high speeds and during cornering.

Interior Enhancements: The Vantage S cabin includes ‘S’ logos on door sills and seat headrests, with standard carbon fibre and Alcantara trim. An optional package adds red accents to the drive mode selector, seatbelts, and stitching. The interior retains a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, digital driver’s display, and advanced driver assistance systems.

Dynamic Debut: The Vantage S will make its global dynamic debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July 2025. This event, held annually at the Goodwood estate, attracts motorsport enthusiasts worldwide. The Vantage S will showcase its performance capabilities on the famous hill climb, highlighting its track-focused design.

Order Availability: Order books for the Vantage S, available in coupe and roadster body styles, are now open. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in October 2025. Aston Martin expects strong demand for this high-performance model, which builds on the success of the standard Vantage launched last year.
