Bajel Projects Limited on Tuesday (July 8) announced a major capacity expansion at its Ranjangaon facility in Maharashtra, aiming to nearly triple its galvanisation output over the next two years.The company said it will increase its galvanisation capacity from 40,500 metric tonnes (MT) per annum to 1,10,000 MT per annum. The expansion will be executed in phases between Q4 FY26 and Q4 FY27. The planned investment for this capacity addition stands at ₹170 crore, which will be funded through a mix of internal accruals and debt.
The decision comes as Bajel Projects is currently operating at a high utilisation rate of 98% at the Ranjangaon unit. The expansion is intended to support growing captive demand and address increased sales opportunities in both domestic and international markets.

Last week, Bajel Projects said it secured a ‘mega’ power order for a 400 kV transmission line project. The company classifies orders in the range of ₹300 crore to ₹400 crore as ‘mega’ orders.The order pertains to the transmission line package TL04 for the Siwani-Jind 400 kV transmission line, which is associated with the transmission system of REZ Phase IV in Bikaner Complex. The project was awarded to Power Grid under the tariff-based competitive bidding route, the company added.

The scope of work for Bajel Projects includes the construction of a new 400kV transmission line spanning around 99km. The engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract is to be completed in 18 months.

Shares of Bajel Projects Ltd ended at ₹240.90, down by ₹1.10, or 0.45%, on the BSE.
