Boeing delivered 150 commercial aircraft in the second quarter of 2025, bringing its year-to-date total to 280 jets, the US planemaker said on Tuesday.The quarterly tally included 104 737s, 9 767s, 13 777s and 24 787 Dreamliners. The 737 remains Boeing’s highest-volume commercial program as the company works through regulatory scrutiny and production constraints.
In its defense, space and security unit, Boeing recorded 36 deliveries in Q2, including 12 Apache helicopters, five Chinooks, three F-15s, four F/A-18s, five KC-46 tankers, four MH-139s, one P-8, and two satellites.
Boeing said delivery data is subject to revision when it reports quarterly results on July 29.The company recently secured a $61 million contract modification from the US Department of Defense for anti-submarine warfare gear, with options that could lift the total value above $349 million.Boeing also delivered its ninth and tenth O3b mPOWER satellites to SES and plans to acquire Spirit AeroSystems’ Belfast unit after a failed divestment attempt.Garuda Indonesia has announced plans to buy Boeing 737 MAX 8 and 787-9 jets, though specifics on timing and financing were not disclosed.Shares of Boeing, up 27% in the past six months, are trading near a 52-week high of $218.80. Barclays has reiterated its Overweight rating, citing steady MAX delivery trends.
