The company’s net profit declined 6.4% year-on-year to ₹35.5 crore from ₹37.3 crore in the same quarter last year.
Revenue, however, saw a healthy increase of 11.3%, coming in at ₹338 crore compared to ₹303.8 crore in the year-ago period. Despite the revenue growth, operational performance remained under pressure.
Borosil, known for its extensive glassware portfolio spanning laboratory, kitchen, and solar glass, has been focusing on strengthening its market presence across segments.EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation, and Amortisation) declined 6.4% year-on-year to ₹54.3 crore from ₹58 crore, reflecting cost pressures.

Margin, however, showed strong jump with the EBITDA margin at 16.1%, compared to 10.1% in the corresponding quarter last year, indicating better cost efficiencies.
Shares of the company edged 0.7% higher, closing at ₹395.55 on the BSE ahead of the earnings announcement.
