Brigade Enterprises to develop 7-acre office space with 5-star hotel in Chennai’s OMR

Realty firm Brigade Enterprises Limited on Friday (August 22) said it has signed a long-term lease agreement for a prime seven-acre site on Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR), Chennai’s key commercial corridor, to develop a landmark mixed-use project.

The development will include over one million square feet of grade A office space along with a 5-star deluxe hotel offering around 225 keys. Positioned in the heart of Chennai’s IT and innovation hub, the project aims to address the rising demand for premium commercial infrastructure and hospitality experiences. Brigade said the project is planned as a destination development, integrating world-class office spaces with luxury hospitality facilities.

The development will be planned to maximise site efficiency to create a vibrant destination that supports business productivity and hospitality excellence. With its proximity to leading IT parks, research institutions, and transit infrastructure, the project is poised to become a flagship address for global enterprises and discerning travellers.

Shares of Brigade Enterprises Limited ended at ₹961.40, down by ₹6.50 or 0.67%, on the BSE today (August 22).
