Brightcom Group Ltd., shares of which resumed trading on the bourses recently after being under suspension for nearly a year, has announced the launch of a new division for next generation defence technologies.In an exchange filing on Friday, August 1, Brightcom Group said that they will launch a dedicated division which will focus on aerospace intelligence and autonomous aerial defence software.

The company expects the market for such technologies to cross $25 billion in the coming decade as the race for air-based dominance has become the core of modern security strategy.Brightcom Group began trading on the bourses again on a daily basis from July 14 and after 10 days of declines, the stock had gained on Tuesday and Wednesday. The stock was suspended for trading for being in non-compliance with certain regulatory norms in June last year.
