BSE, Angel One shares recover from the lows on Tuesday after this Exclusive newsbreak

Date:

Shares of BSE Ltd. and Angel One Ltd. recovered from the lows of the day on Tuesday, October 7, after sources told CNBC-TV18 that market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), has received a large number of representations with regards to the weekly options expiry.Sources have said that brokers are seeking continuation of the weekly options expiry and both exchanges, the BSE and NSE are likely to seek continuation of the weekly options expiry.

SEBI is still collecting and assessing data on derivatives and the consultation process has not yet begun, sources said, adding that the regulator will assess the feedback in a detailed fashion and that there is no rush to either bring out the consultation paper or issue new rules.
