Shares of Kaveri Seed Company Ltd. surged as much as 12% on Saturday, February 1, after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman made announcements during her Union Budget speech in the Lok Sabha.

Kaveri Seed is involved in the production, processing and marketing of hybrid seeds for crops that include corn, sunflower, cotton, paddy and grain.Out of the three analysts who have coverage on the stock, one has a “buy” rating, while two have a “sell” rating.
Shares of Kaveri Seed Company gained as much as 12% post the announcements and are trading 9.4% higher at ₹983.8.
