“Our fight is with terrorists and their support infra and not Pakistan military. We only attacked Pakistan terror camps but it’s unfortunate that Pakistan Army is fighting on behalf of terrorists,” said Air Marshal AN Bharti, DG Air Operations.
The talks between the Director General Military Operations of India and Pakistan have been postponed to the evening on Monday (May 12). The talks were scheduled to held in the noon today.Earlier in the day, Prime Minister held a high-level meeting to review the situation.
On May 11, DGMO Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai said the Indian Armed Forces sent a “hotline message” to his Pakistani counterpart, highlighting “violation” of the understanding reached between the two militaries a day ago and India’s “firm and clear” intent to respond to these “fiercely and punitively” if repeated later.
Hours after India and Pakistan reached the understanding on stopping military actions on May 10, New Delhi on Saturday (May 10) accused Islamabad of breaching it.
In a late night media briefing on May 10, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri called upon Pakistan to take appropriate steps to address these violations and deal with the situation with “seriousness and responsibility”.
