Cyient DLM Ltd announced on Monday, February 17, that it has been awarded an avionics manufacturing programme by multinational aerospace and defence firm Thales.
The electronic manufacturing services company secured the strategic deal at the biennial Aero India 2025 event. As part of the collaboration, Cyient DLM will manufacture high-reliability Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) for Thales’ next-generation flight avionics systems.
The critical PCBAs will be integrated into top commercial aircraft platforms, reinforcing Cyient DLM’s position as a key player in the global Aerospace & Defense ecosystem. The partnership also strengthens its commitment to advancing avionics technology through collaborations with industry leaders.

This highlights Cyient DLM’s strong capabilities in delivering high-reliability electronics for aerospace, and we look forward to supporting Thales with world-class manufacturing solutions,” said Cyient DLM CEO Anthony Montalbano.
Deepak Talwar, Vice-President, Group Procurement, Engineering, and India, Middle East & Africa at Thales, emphasised the company’s commitment to the ‘Make in India’ initiative. “Cyient DLM has demonstrated strong technical capabilities and a competitive edge over the years for various Thales solutions. We are pleased to have them onboard to manufacture high-reliability PCBAs for our next-gen flight avionics systems,” he said.
Despite the announcement, shares of Cyient DLM fell 3.8% to an intraday low of ₹416.4 on the BSE. The stock later pared losses, trading 2.99% lower at ₹420 apiece at 1:46 pm.
