Here’s how Trump’s oath taking ceremony is expected to unfold.
Before the event, Trump will visit the White House, where he will join outgoing President Joe Biden for a symbolic drive to the Capitol—a gesture emphasising the importance of a smooth and democratic transition of power.
The oath-taking ceremony will take place in the historic Rotunda room beneath the Capitol dome. Due to space limitations, attendance will be restricted to ticket holders for the presidential platform and members of Congress. However, some ticket holders may be unable to attend due to the limited capacity of the venue.
