Billionaire Elon Musk has sparked controversy after voicing support for anti-immigration protests in the UK, urging demonstrators to “fight back or die” for their rights.
Addressing attendees virtually at the “Unite the Kingdom” rally on Saturday, the Tesla CEO said, “My appeal is to British common sense which is to look carefully around you and say if this continues, what world will you be living in… This is a message to the reasonable center, the people who ordinarily wouldn’t get involved in politics, who just want to live their lives. My message is to them, if this continues, that violence is going to come to you.”
He doubled down on his warning, declaring, “Whether you choose violence or not, violence is coming to you. You either fight back or you die.”

The London rally, organised by far-right activist Tommy Robinson and described as one of the largest in Britain’s history, drew between 110,000 and 150,000 participants, according to Metropolitan Police estimates. What began as a demonstration soon turned violent, with protesters attempting to breach police barricades near counter-groups.

The clashes left 26 officers injured, with reports of broken bones and concussions, while police confirmed 25 arrests. Assistant Commissioner Matt Twist condemned the unrest, calling it “unacceptable violence.”
Musk’s remarks, including his claim that “the left is the party of murder and celebrating murder,” drew widespread criticism and added to tensions around the rally, which was already under scrutiny for its scale and links to extremist groups.
