Last year, the Tesla chief changed his bio to CTO (Chief Troll Officer).
Following Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony on January 20, the White House announced that the United States Digital Service, founded by former President Barack Obama, would be publicly renamed the United States DOGE Service (USDS).In an X post on Wednesday, Musk confirmed that the USDS was renamed to modernise computer systems in the US government. After this update, the new bio appeared on his profile. “Accurate. We just renamed US Digital Services, created by Obama, to US DOGE Services, with a mandate to modernize all computer systems in the US government. This is something that is sorely needed!” he tweeted.

In another post on Thursday, Musk said that DOGE will “make rapid safety upgrades to the air traffic control system.”
“With the support of President @realDonaldTrump, the @DOGE team will aim to make rapid safety upgrades to the air traffic control system. Just a few days ago, the FAA’s primary aircraft safety notification system failed for several hours!” he wrote.

Musk’s statement came shortly after Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced that he had spoken with DOGE and that the squad intended to ‘plug in’ to the air traffic control system. “Big News – Talked to the DOGE team. They are going to plug in to help upgrade our aviation system,” Duffy wrote on X.
This was not the first time Tesla’s CEO grabbed attention by changing his X profile. Known for sharing hilarious memes and witty social media posts, Musk is also famous for often altering his bio, profile image, or name.
The most recent in the series was when he renamed himself ‘Kekius Maximus’ in December 2024, replacing ‘Elon Musk’. Additionally, he also changed his profile image to the popular ‘Pepe the Frog’ meme.
