The department has launched a WhatsApp alert service that instantly sends notifications to users whenever a challan is issued against their vehicle, ensuring that no fine goes unnoticed.The campaign, promoted under the tagline “अब कोई चालान छूटेगा नहीं , अचानक आने वाले जुर्माने को कहें अलविदा”, aims to make Delhi roads safer and encourage responsible driving.
Motorists can now easily check their challan status without any hassle. By simply sending a message to +91 80071 03020 on WhatsApp while users can also subscribe to this free service. Once registered, they will receive automatic updates about any challan issued to their vehicle directly on their phones.
The Delhi Traffic Police also advised citizens to keep their mobile numbers updated with their vehicle details to ensure seamless communication.
