The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rainfall along with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds across several states, including Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, and Gujarat on Saturday, June 14.In its latest weather bulletin issued on June 14, the IMD also warned of heatwave conditions in parts of West Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Delhi.
An alert for hot and humid weather has also been issued for Bihar on Saturday. According to the IMD, there will be no significant change in maximum temperatures over northwest, central, and eastern India over the next two days.

Very heavy showers are likely over Arunachal Pradesh on June 18, Assam and Meghalaya during June 16–18, and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura on June 17 and 18.Maximum Temperature Forecast:No major change in maximum temperatures is expected over Northwest and Central India for the next two days, followed by a gradual drop of 2–4°C. Over East India, temperatures are likely to remain steady for 24 hours, then fall by 2–3°C over the next three days. No significant change is forecast elsewhere in the country.Heatwave, Hot and Humid Weather, and Warm Night WarningsThe IMD has predicted heatwave conditions in many areas of Himachal Pradesh and East Rajasthan on June 14 and 15. West Rajasthan is also likely to experience heatwaves, with some regions facing severe heatwave conditions on both days.Heatwave warnings have also been issued for parts of Jammu & Kashmir, west Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi on June 14 and 15, and for east Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh on June 14.Hot and humid weather is expected over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, and Bihar on Saturday, and in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura on June 14 and 15.
