In first address to Congress, Donald Trump claims millions of dead Americans receiving Social Security benefits

Date:

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday claimed that government databases listed millions of deceased Americans, with ages ranging from 100 to over 160 years old, receiving social security benefits. In his first address to a joint session of Congress, he said: “Believe it or not, government databases list 4.7 million social security members from 100 to 109 years old. It lists 3.6 million people from ages 110 to 119. 3.47 million people from ages 120 to 129. 3.9 million people from ages 130 to 139. 3.5 million people from ages 140 to 149. And money is being paid to many of them.”

The President

emphasised that these inaccuracies hurt social security and the country. “It really hurts social security, it hurts our country. 1.3 million people from ages 150 to 159, and over 130,000 according to the social security database are aged over 160 years old,” he added.
“We have a healthier country than I thought, Bobby,” he said referring to Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.He also touched upon reciprocal tariffs, set to take effect on April 2, which will charge the same tariffs imposed by certain countries.

“If you don’t make your product in America, however, under the Trump administration, you will pay a tariff, and in some cases, a rather large one. Other countries have used tariffs against us for decades, and now it’s our turn to start using them against those other countries,” Trump added.

Elon Musk received a standing ovation and loud cheers from Republicans as Trump commemorated the establishment of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

“DOGE. Perhaps you’ve heard of it. Thank you Elon, you’re working very hard. He didn’t need it, he didn’t need it. Thank you very much, we appreciate it, everybody here, even this side (Democrats) appreciate it here,” Trump said.

According to Trump, DOGE’s findings thus far include $22 billion for free housing and cars for illegal aliens, $45 million for DEI scholarships in Burma, $8 million to promote LGBTQI+ in the African nation of Lesotho and $59 million for illegal alien hotel rooms in New York City.

Earlier, Musk also pointed out that there were some serious concerns with a Social Security database in which millions of centenarians have their death field set to ‘FALSE’.

On X, he wrote, “According to the Social Security database, these are the numbers of people in each age bucket with the death field set to FALSE! Maybe Twilight is real and there are a lot of vampires collecting Social Security.”

His post also included a stat chart showing around 20 million centenarians aged 100 to 159, with 1.3 million in the 150-159 age category.
