Iran has officially confirmed that Israel killed General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the head of the Revolutionary Guard’s missile programme. The acknowledgment came via Iranian state television on Friday (June 13) afternoon, shortly after Israel announced his death.Hajizadeh, a key commander overseeing Iran’s ballistic missile arsenal, was among several senior officials killed in Israel’s overnight airstrikes targeting Iranian nuclear and military sites on June 13.The strikes also resulted in the deaths of six prominent nuclear scientists and several senior military leaders, including Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Iran’s top military officer and chief of staff of the armed rorces.
