Israel launched airstrikes against Iran’s nuclear programme and military targets, codenaming it as Operation Rising Lion. The major escalation in the standoff between the two countries can spark a new war in West Asia.
Following the strikes, Delhi Airport has also issued a passenger advisory for the travellers, and reported that some flight operations have been disrupted.
Air India also reported many flight disruptions due to the evolving closure in the region. Iraq also closed its airspace and suspended all flights and airport operations, reported AFP.
