JioBlackRock AMC opens NFO for five index schemes

JioBlackRock Asset Management, a joint venture between Jio Financial Services Ltd (JFSL) and BlackRock, has launched five new index funds through a New Fund Offering (NFO).The NFO opens on August 5 and will close on August 12.

This is JioBlackRock’s first suite of index-based offerings since its inception. The funds aim to provide retail investors with low-cost options across a wide range of asset classes.

New funds on offer:

  • JioBlackRock Nifty 50 Index Fund – Exposure to 50 of India’s largest companies.
  • JioBlackRock Nifty Next 50 Index Fund – Invests in the next rung of large-cap stocks.
  • JioBlackRock Nifty Midcap 150 Index Fund – Focus on mid-sized companies.
  • JioBlackRock Nifty Smallcap 250 Index Fund – Access to emerging small-cap firms.
  • JioBlackRock Nifty 8–13 Yr G-Sec Index Fund – Exposure to long-term government bonds.

The funds are available on the JioFinance app and across major investment platforms such as Groww, Zerodha, Paytm, INDmoney, Dhan, and Kuvera.Investors can also access them through SEBI-registered investment advisors.
According to the fund house, these passive schemes aim to provide diversified exposure to market segments with the benefits of transparency, low expense ratios, and minimal tracking error.The equity funds target different tiers of market capitalisation, while the G-Sec fund offers fixed income exposure with lower volatility.

Distribution and investor education

The AMC has also announced educational initiatives to support both new and experienced investors. These will include content and tools aimed at improving awareness about index investing.
