Juniper Hotels Ltd on Tuesday (August 12) reported a 23% year-on-year (YoY) decline in consolidated net profit at ₹9 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, compared with ₹11.7 crore in the year-ago period, hurt by an exceptional loss related to a fire incident at its under-construction Bengaluru property.Revenue from operations rose 10.5% to ₹220.7 crore from ₹199.7 crore in the year-ago period. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) jumped 27.3% to ₹79.8 crore from ₹62.7 crore a year earlier, while operating margin improved to 36.2% from 31.4%.
The company recognised an exceptional loss of ₹17.14 crore during the quarter on account of damage caused by the fire at the Bengaluru project in April. Juniper said the property is adequately insured and it has received an interim payment of ₹5 crore from the insurer, with the final settlement to be determined after restoration work is completed.The board also approved the reconstitution of its Nomination and Remuneration Committee and Corporate Social Responsibility Committee with effect from August 12, 2025.
The shares of the company are trading slightly lower at ₹284.15 on the BSE. The stock has fallen 20% in the year so far.
