KPI Green Energy Q3 Results: Stock in 5% upper circuit after strong revenue, profit growth

KPI Green Energy Ltd. reported its December quarter results on Thursday, February 6. Net profit for the period increased by 67% from last year to ₹85 crore.

Revenue for the quarter stood at ₹458.3 crore, which is a growth of 39% from the year-ago quarter of ₹330 crore.


KPI Green’s Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) increased by 32% year-on-year to ₹137 crore, compared to ₹104 crore in the year-ago period.EBITDA margin stood at 30% from last year’s 31%.

KPI Green Energy also declared a third interim dividend at 4% i.e. 0.20 per equity share of face value of

5 each for the financial year 2024-25. The Record date for the payment of this interim dividend has been fixed as February 18, 2025.

The dividend will be paid within 30 days from the date of its declaration to the shareholders whose name appears in the Register of Members as on the record date.

Between March and September, KPI Green’s retail shareholding (those with authorised share capital of up to ₹2 lakh), has gone up by 1 lakh in absolute terms.

At the end of the March quarter, KPI Green Energy had 1.51 lakh retail shareholders, based on the data available on BSE’s shareholding pattern. At the end of the September quarter, that number has increased to 2.53 lakh.

In percentage terms, retail shareholders now hold 22.58% stake in KPI Green Energy, compared to 20.95% they held at the end of March 2024.

At the same time, the promoter stake has come down from 53.08% in March to 48.77% in September.

Following the Q3 earnings announcement, shares of KPI Green Energy Ltd. hit an upper circuit of 5% at 452.25.
