Krystal Integrated Services gains nearly 3% on securing sanitation services contract from health ministry

Krystal Integrated Services Ltd (KISL) shares gained nearly 3% on Monday, March 10, after the company announced securing a work order from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for providing sanitation services.As per the contract, the company will deploy staff at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) for sanitation services.
The leading integrated facility management services provider informed the stock exchanges in a filing that the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has awarded it a contract for the provision of sanitation services at PGIMER.
“The work order highlights KISL commitment towards delivering high quality sanitation solutions for healthcare sectors across India,” the company said.Krystal Integrated Services will deploy more than 1,178 trained personnel across the PGIMER campus for ensuring the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene. However, the company did not reveal the value of the said contract.
The work scope covers sanitisation services across various designated areas, including indoor facilities, high-risk zones, outdoor sections, building exteriors, and seating areas like stadiums.By utilising skilled personnel and advanced sanitation equipment, the medical institution will be able to uphold a clean and safe environment, essential for minimising infection risks and ensuring public health.

The said contract with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare represents a significant achievement in Krystal Integrated Services’ ongoing expansion within India’s healthcare sector. The company has successfully executed large-scale sanitation initiatives for government hospitals, educational establishments and public infrastructure nationwide.

It employs mechanised cleaning methods and strict quality control processes to effectively address the evolving needs of large-scale institutions. The company has a strong record of accomplishing the management of high traffic healthcare facilities, including real time monitoring, quality audits and adherence to government-mandated sanitisation protocols.

Shares of Krystal Integrated Services Ltd were trading flat at ₹463.05 apiece on the BSE at 1:20 pm.
