Long build up in Nykaa shares, check out the top five stocks hot in the F&O market

Date:

Shares of FSN E-commerce Ventures, which owns the cosmetics brand Jerkhave surged over 4% in early trade on August 13. The Mumbai-based company had posted a nearly 50% expansion in EBITDA margin. EBITDA stands for earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation.

The increase in Nykaa share price came with strong volumes; Over 11 million shares had changed hands in the first 45 minutes of trade, more than 4 times the average trading volume in the last 10 days.

The futures market showed a 6.7% increase in open interest, mostly in long positions. The long build up was sharper in the first few minutes of trade, with the open interest showing a nearly 8% increase before cooling off a bit.

A simultaneous increase in share price and open interest indicates long build-up, or simply put, traders expect the stock price to rise. These are the top five stocks with the most increase in open interest, along with a rise in stock price

Investors are enthused by the shrinking losses in the fashion unit, which accounts for a little less than 8% of the total revenue. “We expect the company to see accelerated consolidated EBITDA margin improvement,” analysts at JM Financial said a day after the earnings. They rate the stock as a ‘buy’ with a target price of ₹260,  27% higher than the closing price on Tuesday (August 12).

Shares of Nykaa are down 4% in the last one month, and up 24% in the last six months.
