Maharashtra Seamless Ltd on Wednesday (July 30) reported a 71% year-on-year growth in net profit at ₹233.8 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2025.
The company’s revenue rose 7.1% to ₹1,302.6 crore from ₹1,215.6 crore in the same period last year.
Profit before tax in Q1FY26 saw an 84% jump at ₹303.2 crore, compared to ₹164.8 crore last year. The seamless pipes and tubes industry player reported stable growth across segments.
The board meeting today (July 30) approved the appointment of Dipika Agarwal as an independent director of the company for a term of five years, effective from September 28, 2025.
In May, the company’s shares had gained after the company reported a stable set of earnings for the fourth quarter of FY25. Revenue during the March quarter went up 17% YoY to ₹1,417 crore, while EBITDA grew 3% to ₹283.9 crore.
Earlier in March, it had secured an order worth approximately ₹298 crore for the supply of seamless pipes in the oil and gas sector. The orderbook in mid-May stood at ₹1,584 crore.
Maharashtra Seamless is the flagship company of the DP Jindal Group. Its plants are located in Raigad, Maharashtra, producing seamless pipes and ERW pipes.
Shares of the company closed marginally lower at ₹687.9 on the BSE on July 30. The stock has gained as much as 12% in the previous six months.
