Mahindra Lifespaces to raise up to ₹1,500 crore through rights issue

Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd. informed the exchanges on Thursday, February 13, that it will raise up to ₹1,500 crore through a rights issue.

The company will fixed the record date for the same soon, it said in an exchange filing.

“The Board has authorised the Rights Issue Committee to proceed with the Rights Issue forthwith and inter alia, to decide the terms and conditions of the Rights Issue, including but not limited to the appointment of intermediaries, determination of the issue price, Rights entitlement ratio, record date, timing of the rights issue and terms of payment and various other related matters,” it said.

Mahindra Lifespace has recently acquired 8.2 acres of land in North Bengaluru through its subsidiary Anthurium Developers Ltd, the company announced today. The land parcel has a developable potential of approximately 0.9 million square feet and is projected to generate a Gross Development Value (GDV) of nearly ₹1,000 crore.The site, located off the Bangalore-Hyderabad highway, offers proximity to the international airport, IT hubs, and key social infrastructure. Positioned just 1.8 kilometers from the upcoming Doddajala metro station, the location is expected to attract urban homebuyers. The project will primarily focus on mid-premium residential apartments, marking the company’s seventh venture in Bengaluru.

Shares of Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd. closed 3.38% lower on Thursday at 356.35. The stock has fallen 23% so far in 2025.
