Nestle India has announced the addition of a new Maggi noodles production line at its Sanand factory in Gujarat. The new line, developed with an investment of ₹105 crore, will expand the facility’s capacity by approximately 20,300 tonnes per annum in FY26.This expansion is part of the FMCG major’s broader capital expenditure plan covering both greenfield and brownfield projects between 2020 and 2025. The Sanand plant currently has an annual capacity of around 1,00,700 tonnes with a utilisation of 77%.
In its regulatory filing, the company said the new line is aimed at meeting future demand, as part of its long-term growth strategy. The investment will be funded through internal accruals.
