Infrastructure company PNC Infratech Ltd on Monday (July 28) said it has emerged as the L1 (first lowest) bidder for a mining services contract floated by South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.
The project involves handling, transport, and other mining services, including hiring of HEMM for overburden removal and coal extraction by surface miner, along with loading and transportation of extracted coal to various destinations at the Gevra OCP expansion project in Chhattisgarh.
The total quoted value of the contract stands at ₹2,956.66 crore, exclusive of GST. The financial bids for the project were opened on July 28, 2025. The contract is to be executed over a period of five years.

Last month, PNC Infratech announced the receipt of a letter of acceptance (LoA) from the Public Works Department (PWD), Rajasthan, for the construction of a flyover project in Bharatpur city.
“…we are pleased to inform you that our company has received a Letter of Acceptance dated 06.06.2025 from PWD-Rajasthan for the project namely “Construction of Flyover from Heeradas Chouraha to Kumher Gate Chouraha in Bharatpur City, Bharatpur” on 07.06.2025,” according to a stock exchange filing.
The project, awarded on June 6, 2025, involves the construction of a flyover from Heeradas Chouraha to Kumher Gate Chouraha under an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract. The total contract value is ₹239.94 crore, and the project is to be completed within two years.

Shares of PNC Infratech Ltd ended at ₹297.75, down by ₹6.10 or 2.01%, on the BSE.
