Power Mech Q1 Results | Net profit, revenue, margins post solid growth

Power Mech Projects Ltd on Friday (August 8) reported a 30.4% jump in its net profit at ₹80.5 crore for the first quarter that ended June 30, 2025, compared to ₹61.7 crore in Q1FY25.Revenue from operations surged 28.4% to ₹1,293 crore against ₹1,007 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.

At the operating level, EBITDA for the April-June quarter spiked 49% to ₹170.4 crore over ₹114.4 crore year-on-year. The EBITDA margin expanded appreciably to 13.2% from 11.3% in the year-ago quarter.

The Power Mech Projects board has appointed Bontha Prasada Rao as an additional director in the category of non-executive and independent director for a first term of three years, effective August 8, 2025. His appointment is subject to shareholder approval.It has also named Rohit Sajja, currently president of the company, as an additional and whole-time director in the category of executive director for a five-year term starting August 8, 2025, subject to shareholder approval.

In addition, the board has approved the reappointment of Kishore Babu Sajja as managing director for another five-year term, beginning April 1, 2026, also subject to shareholder approval.

The results came after the close of the market hours. Shares of Power Mech Projects Ltd ended at ₹3,045.60, down by ₹123.50 or 3.90%, on the BSE today (August 8).
