Procter & Gamble Health declares ₹110 interim dividend for FY25; net profit surges 18% to ₹364 crore

Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd (PGHH) on Tuesday (February 11) said the board of directors has declared an interim dividend for the financial year 2024-25 of ₹110 per equity share (Face Value of 10/- each). The dividend shall be paid on or before March 7, 2025.

“..we are pleased to inform you that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held today, inter alia, have declared an Interim Dividend for the Financial Year 2024-25 of ₹110 per Equity Share (Face Value of Rs. 10/- each). The dividend shall be paid on or before March 7, 2025,” Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care said in a regulatory filing.

The company reported an 18% year-on-year (YoY) surge in net profit at ₹364 crore for the second quarter that ended December 31, 2024. In the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care posted a net profit of ₹308.5 crore, the company said in a regulatory filing.

The company’s revenue from operations increased 10.3% to ₹1,247.6 crore as against ₹1,131 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal. At the operating level, EBITDA tanked 39% to ₹371 crore in the third quarter of this fiscal over ₹607.7 crore in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal.EBITDA margin stood at 29.7% in the reporting quarter as compared to 53.7% in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal. EBITDA is earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation.

In a challenging operating environment, the company delivered balanced growth in the quarter, with sales of ₹1,248 crore, up 10% versus a year ago driven by a robust portfolio, consumer-delighting innovation and superior retail execution.

Kumar Venkatasubramanian, Managing Director, Procter and Gamble Hygiene and Health Care, said, “The company has delivered strong double-digit growth across both top line and bottom line in the quarter.”

Shares of Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd ended at ₹13,855.20, down by ₹246.50 or 1.75% on the BSE.
