The Sadak Suraksha Abhiyaan (SSA), a nationwide road safety campaign, enters its third year in 2025 with the theme “Parwaah Karenge, Surakshit Rahenge” (Care for Others, Stay Safe).This year focuses on children and young people as key participants and beneficiaries of road safety efforts. The campaign uses music and art to spread awareness, including a special concert in Mumbai called Suraksha Reloaded. The event featured performances by Shankar Mahadevan and The Shillong Choir.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari attended the concert to show the government’s ongoing commitment to safer roads.
Building on past success, the campaign urges people to take responsibility for saving lives through four guiding principles: Care, Initiative, Effort, and Change.By involving young people and communities, SSA 2025 aims to make a lasting difference.
