Auto component manufacturer Santa Engineering Ltd on Monday (February 10) reported a 15.8% surge in net profit at ₹55.6 crore for the third quarter over ₹48 year-on-year (YoY). Revenue from operations increased 2.1% to ₹727.8 crore against ₹712.6 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.

At the operating level, EBITDA was up 5.3%% to ₹127 crore in Q3 FY25 over ₹120.6 crore in the year-ago quarter.

The EBITDA margin stood at 17.5% compared to 16.9% in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal. EBITDA is earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation.
The board has approved the reappointment of Subramonia Sekhar Vasan as managing director, with the additional designation of chairman and managing director, effective from July 8, 2025, for a five-year term. The appointment is subject to shareholder approval through a postal ballot.
Vasan aged about 72 years, is the founder of the company and has been a director since its incorporation. He holds a bachelor’s degree in technology from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras and a postgraduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore. He has over 43 years of professional experience in the fields of technology, engineering, quality, manufacturing etc.

The results came after the close of the market hours. Shares of Sansera Engineering Ltd ended at ₹1,236.35, down by ₹37.45, or 2.94%, on the BSE.
