Not only did it close at a three-month low, but also below its 20-DMA of 24,737, a level it defended for a better part of the session, barring the final 30 minutes.With this, the index has also given up all the gains for the August series. Donald Trump’s additional 25% tariffs on Indian exports to the US has taken effect from Wednesday, taking the overall levy to 50%. Signals from White House officials on the future of the relationship has been mixed.For the Nifty, Tuesday’s low of 24,689 is the key, below which, the August 13 and 14 lows of 24,596 and 24,535 open up on the downside.
