Sigachi Industries signs MoU with Indian Navy to hold monthly healthy living programme in Visakhapatnam

Sigachi Industries Ltd on Thursday, March 13, said it has into a strategic partnership with the Indian Navy’s INS Kalinga, to promote healthy living through a series of programmes.In stock exchange filing, the company said it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Indian Navy’s INS Kalinga to jointly promote “Vizag Navy Marathon Promo cum Conditioning Programme”, an initiative designed to foster a culture of health and wellness in the region. The MoU was signed on March 10, 2025.
The programme will be held on the second Sunday of each month from March 2025 to October 2025 in Visakhapatnam. It will feature a variety of structured fitness events, training sessions, and community engagement activities, aimed at encouraging residents to adopt healthier habits and participate in physical fitness activities.

By collaborating with the Indian Navy, the company seeks to empower individuals in the community to embrace a healthier lifestyle, contributing to the overall wellness of the region.“This programme will not only promote healthy living but also serve as a platform to bring people together for creating a healthier, happier, and joyful world,” Amit Raj Sinha, Managing Director and CEO of Sigachi Industries, said.

Cmde SP Patel, Commanding Officer of INS Kalinga, said the programme is about cultivating a long-term commitment to health, teamwork and perseverance within the local community.

Shares of Sigachi Industries were trading 1.39% higher at ₹37.89 apiece on the BSE at 10:35 am.
