Scope of Project
Water treatment plants: The project includes the provision of a 160 MLD water treatment plant in Kekri.
Storage Facilities: Construction of two clear water reservoirs with a combined capacity of 37.75 MLD.Transmission Network: The project involves providing, laying, jointing, testing, and commissioning of a 58.675-kilometre network.
Advanced Technology Integration: Supply and installation of advanced pumping systems, along with associated electrical and mechanical equipment, instrumentation, SCADA systems, and related civil works at the WTP Kekri pump house.
Infrastructure Development:
The scope includes demolition of existing structures and construction of new office buildings and J-2 quarters at the proposed location.
Smart Monitoring: The entire scheme will be monitored through an advanced SCADA system for real-time operational control and efficiency.
Long-term Operations: A comprehensive 10-year O&M contract to ensure optimal system performance and sustainability.
“The Kekri-Sarwar water supply project will significantly enhance water security for the people of Rajasthan and demonstrates our capability to execute complex water infrastructure projects with cutting-edge technology,” Subhash Sethi, Chairman of SPML Infra Limited, said.
Earlier this week, the company said it had secured the sanction of enhanced credit facilities amounting to ₹205 crore.
This non-fund-based credit facility is expected to aid engineering, procurement, and construction projects.
SPML shares were trading 2.49% up at ₹280.6 apiece at 11.15 am on Friday, July 11. The stock has gained 29.65% in the past month.
