
Rvnl | State-owned company said it has received a letter of acceptance from South Western Railway for an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract valued at ₹156.36 crore (including applicable taxes). The project involves the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 2X25 KV overhead electrification (OHE) & power supply installation (PSI) system, along with electrical general services, engineering, and telecommunication works.

Brigade Enterprises | Realty firm said it has launched Brigade Altius, a premium residential project in Sholinganallur, Chennai’s IT corridor. Spanning 6.5 acres with a total development area of 1.4 million square feet, the project features three signature towers rising 43 floors each to a height of approximately 143 metres, making it one of the tallest developments in the area.

Kalpataru Projects | The company said the company, along with its international subsidiaries, has secured new orders and notifications of awards worth ₹2,306 crore. The fresh orders include transmission and distribution (T&D) projects in the overseas market and building projects in India.

RITES | State-owned company said it has received a letter of acceptance (LoA) from South Central Railway for conducting the final location survey for high-speed elevated rail corridors between Hyderabad-Bengaluru and Hyderabad-Chennai. The contract, valued at ₹27.96 crore (excluding GST), involves preparing a detailed project report (DPR), final alignment design, traffic survey report, return on revenue (ROR) calculations, a detailed estimate, and EPC documents using advanced survey techniques such as airborne or terrestrial LiDAR.

Bajaj finserv | The company said its unlisted insurance subsidiaries, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance and Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, have reported their premium collections for February 2025. Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company recorded a gross direct premium of ₹1,219 crore for February 2025, taking the total premium underwritten up to February 2025 to ₹20,006 crore. Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company reported new business premiums of ₹1,080.33 crore for February 2025. The total new business premium collected from April 2024 to February 2025 stood at ₹10,469.77 crore.

Bonon | Biotechnology firm said its arm Biocon Biologics Ltd has entered into a strategic collaboration with Civica Inc, a not-for-profit pharmaceutical company, to enhance the accessibility and affordability of insulin aspart in the United States. Civica, founded in 2018, focuses on addressing life-saving drug shortages and reducing costs for essential medications.

TCS | India’s largest IT services firm said it has signed an expanded deal with Northern Trust, a global financial institution, to centralise and standardise custody operations across 99 direct and global markets. As part of the agreement, TCS will deploy its TCS BaNCS Global Securities Platform, enabling streamlined custody operations for Northern Trust, which manages $17.4 trillion in assets under custody and administration as of December 31, 2024.

Nmdc | The Central government has appointed Amitava Mukherjee as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of NMDC, effective March 6, 2025. His tenure will continue until his superannuation on February 29, 2028, or until further orders, whichever comes earlier, it said in a filing. Mukherjee, who joined NMDC as Director (Finance) in November 2018, had been serving as the company’s acting CMD since March 2023.

Bharat Electronics | State-run company said it has secured additional orders worth ₹577 crore since its last disclosure on February 20, 2025. The fresh orders include airborne electronic warfare products, an advanced composite communication system for submarines, Doppler weather radar, train communication systems, radar upgrades, spares, and services. With these latest deals, BEL’s total order inflow for the current financial year (FY25) has reached ₹13,724 crore, the company said.

Laurels good | Drug firm said it has approved an ₹833-crore investment in KRKA Pharma Private Limited, its joint venture with KRKA d.d., Novo mesto, Slovenia. Simultaneously, KRKA d.d. will invest ₹867 crore, maintaining the existing 51:49 shareholding structure between the two companies. The investment will support land acquisition and initial costs for setting up a manufacturing facility under KRKA Pharma, which was incorporated in April 2024 and is yet to commence operations.
