
Hindustan Zinc | The company said its board has cleared the setting up of a 10 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) tailings reprocessing plant, with a planned capital expenditure of up to ₹3,823 crore. The facility, which the company said will be India’s first of its kind, is designed to recover metals from accumulated tailing dumps. The move forms part of the miner’s broader “2X growth plan,” aimed at doubling capacity.

Vedanta | Metals and mining company said that a meeting of its board of directors is scheduled for Thursday, August 21, 2025, to consider and approve the second interim dividend on equity shares, if any, for the financial year 2025-26. The company further stated that the record date for determining the entitlement of equity shareholders for the dividend, if declared, has been fixed as Wednesday, August 27, 2025.

GMR Airports | The company informed that it has served notice for the voluntary redemption of its non-convertible bonds (NCBs) in line with the provisions of the bond trust deed dated November 17, 2023. The redemption covers three sets of bonds — one worth ₹1,950 crore, another worth ₹800 crore, and a third worth ₹2,250 crore. Together, these add up to ₹5,000 crore.

Escorts Kubota | Farm and construction equipment firm said the Excise & Taxation Officer, Faridabad (East), Haryana, has sanctioned a refund of ₹46.37 crore out of the total refund claim of ₹46.67 crore filed by the company under Rule 89(1) of the Haryana GST Act, 2017. The refund claim was made on account of input tax credit (ITC) accumulated under the inverted duty structure.
