Engineering major Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd said on Thursday, August 21, it has won an order worth ₹103.16 crore from Leap Grain Rail Logistics to deliver BCBFG wagons along with BVCM brake vans. The domestic order has to be executed within 10 months.
In June, the company secured a major international order worth $62.24 million (approximately ₹535 crore) from CAMALCO SA, Cameroon. That included the manufacture and supply of 560 open-top wagons valued at $32.76 million (₹282 crore), and a 20-year long-term maintenance contract worth $29.48 million (₹253 crore).
Earlier this month, the company reported a sharp decline in earnings for the June quarterwith net profit falling 49.8% year-on-year to ₹30 crore, compared with ₹59.8 crore in Q1FY25.

Revenue dropped 16.3% to ₹910.6 crore from ₹1,088.2 crore a year ago, while EBITDA fell 33.5% to ₹71.2 crore from ₹107 crore. Operating margins narrowed to 7.8% from 9.8% in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Texmaco, a key player in the Adventz Group, is engaged in manufacturing railway wagons, coaches, and locomotives.
Shares of Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd ended at ₹141.60, up by 2.14%, on the NSE today (August 21).
