“It’s meant to say this is the law of the jungle, what I call a ‘G-Zero world’, where he’s the apex predator. And that’s not a bad place to be. If you’re the United States and if you’re Trump, you’re going to get a lot of wins that way,” Bremmer said in an interview with CNBC-TV18 at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos.
The G-Zero world refers to a state where no single power or coalition is both willing and capable of steering a global agenda or upholding international order.
Trump’s approach will compel many nations to adjust their policies to align with Trump’s demands. “Plenty of countries are going to do what Mark Zuckerberg did: change his business model, change the people around them, and say, ‘Sir, we can work with you, we can work with Elon (Musk)'” Bremmer stated.

Bremmer described the recent call between Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping, as “two boxers touching gloves before the match.”
While the call may seem like an olive branch, Bremmer believes it marks the beginning of a tough phase in US-China relations. He expects additional tariffs to be announced as early as the inaugural week.
Unlike his first term, where he required establishment Republican support, Trump now operates without constraints, making his policies and leadership style more uncompromising, Bremmer noted.
