Zelenskiy also reiterated Europe should be part of the talks.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said he will travel to Washington to meet his US counterpart Donald Trump on Monday to discuss the end of Russia’s invasion.
“Ukraine once again confirms that it is ready to work productively to achieve peace,” Zelenskiy said in a social media post after a phone call with Trump on Saturday. “We support President Trump’s proposal to hold a trilateral meeting of Ukraine-US-Russia.”

We had a long and substantive conversation with @POTUS. We started with one-on-one talks before inviting European leaders to join us. This call lasted for more than an hour and a half, including about an hour of our bilateral conversation with President Trump.
