Maharashtra Budget 2025 Live Updates: Maharashtra Finance Minister Ajit Pawar presented the state’s Budget for 2025-26 on Monday, March 10. “I am presenting the budget for the financial year 2025-26. Maharashtra will be number one in fulfilling the Prime Minister’s dream of a developed India by 2047. Maharashtra is number one in foreign direct investment. In Davos, Maharashtra signed MoUs with 56 companies worth Rs 15.72 lakh crore, which will employ 16 lakh people,” says Pawar. The government has allocated Rs 36,000 crore under Chief Minister’s Mazi Ladki Bahin Yojana for FY2025-26 with special plans to further encourage women groups utilising the subsidy. Around 2.53 crore eligible women receive ₹1,500 per month under this flagship scheme. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis clarified that there is no increase in the payout as of now. “We have to maintain the financial balance while fulfilling our promise,” he said. Pawar made several announcements related to infrastructure development. The third airport in Mumbai will be built near Vadhavan Port in the Palghar district and the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train station.
