Aero India 2025 | Samtel Avionics targets ₹1,000 crore order book by end of FY26, says CEO Puneet Kaura

Samtel Avionics, a key player in India’s defence aerospace sector, is aiming to double its order book to ₹1,000 crore by the end of FY26, according to the company’s Managing Director and CEO, Puneet Kaura.Speaking to CNBC-TV18 during the ongoing Aero India 2025 exhibition in Bengaluru, Kaura highlighted the company’s strong presence in the avionics market, providing vital display panels for aircraft like the Sukhoi 30 fighter jet.

Kaura elaborated on the company’s diverse offerings, stating, “We are a company which basically manufactures all types of high-end avionic products. We cater to a variety of platforms that fly in India, and we have a long-standing joint venture with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). We are part of the cockpit supply for the 156 Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) aircrafts that will be delivered to the Indian Armed Forces.”

Currently, Samtel Avionics holds an order book valued between ₹500 crore and ₹700 crore. With ambitious growth plans, the company expects to significantly increase its order intake, targeting ₹1,000 crore by end of FY26.Watch accompanying video for entire conversation.
