Amazon has launched its first-ever at-home lab testing service in India. The new service, called Amazon Diagnostics, has been introduced in collaboration with Orange Health Labs, a diagnostics provider known for its convenience-focused model.This launch marks Amazon’s global entry into the diagnostics space and aims to simplify lab testing for consumers by enabling test bookings, home sample collections, and digital report access—directly through the Amazon app.
The service will initially be available across six cities, covering over 450 pincodes, and will offer approximately 1,000 medical tests.
Amazon Diagnostics is part of a broader effort to unify Amazon’s healthcare services—Pharmacy, Clinic, and now Diagnostics—under a single brand: Amazon Medical.Orange Health Labs, the company’s diagnostics partner, operates as a full-stack lab with a focus on consumer convenience.(Edited by : Priyanka Deshpande)
