Anupam Rasayan Q3 profit rises 11.6% despite margin pressure; revenue jumps 31%

Anupam Rasayan India Ltd reported a steady set of numbers for the December quarter, with double-digit profit growth backed by strong revenue expansion, although margins remained under pressure.

The company’s net profit rose 11.6% year-on-year to ₹60.5 crore in Q3FY26, compared with ₹54.2 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Revenue from operations increased 31.4% YoY to ₹512.4 crore, up from ₹390 crore in Q3FY25, reflecting improved traction in its business segments.

At the operating level, EBITDA grew 2.6% year-on-year to ₹127.4 crore versus ₹124.2 crore a year ago. However, EBITDA margin contracted sharply to 24.9% from 31.8% in the year-ago quarter, indicating higher cost pressures during the period.

Total expenses for the quarter stood at ₹454.6 crore, compared with ₹327.1 crore in the same quarter last year. Cost of materials consumed came in at ₹269.7 crore, while employee benefits expense stood at ₹18 crore. Finance costs were reported at ₹35.2 crore and depreciation at ₹34.5 crore during the quarter.

Anupam Rasayan India Ltd is a speciality chemicals company that manufactures and custom synthesises high-value chemical intermediates and complex speciality molecules that serve a range of end-use industries. The company’s products and solutions are largely used in agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, personal care, polymers, electronic chemicals, pigments & dyes, and other performance materials.

For the nine months ended December 31, 2025, the company reported a profit after tax of ₹166.2 crore, compared with ₹97 crore in the corresponding period last year, while revenue stood at ₹1,729.7 crore versus ₹938.3 crore a year ago.
