Asian Paints’ Highest Payout In Two Years
Asian Paints, India’s largest Paints manufacturing company, announced a final dividend of ₹23 per share, alongside its fourth quarter results. Today is the record date for that final dividend.
This means that those investors, who had shares of Asian Paints in their demat account as of Monday’s closing, will be eligible to avail the dividend. Those who buy shares of Asian Paints today, will not be eligible to avail the dividend. This is applicable to all companies that will turn ex-dividend in today’s session.
The dividend announced by Asian Paints is also the highest announced by the company since June 2024, when it had announced a final dividend of ₹28.15 per share.
Hindustan Unilever’s Final Dividend
Hindustan Unilever, India’s largest FMCG company had also announced a final dividend of ₹22 per share, along with its earnings.This was also the highest payout announced by the company since June of last year, when the final dividend of ₹23 per share.

- Dalmia Bharat: The company will turn ex-dividend for the final dividend of ₹5 per share.
- GNA Axles: The auto parts manufacturer had announced a final dividend of ₹3 per share.
- Indian Hotels: The Tata Group company had declared a final dividend of ₹3.25 per share.
- Tata Power: Another Tata Group company, which announced a final dividend of ₹2.5 per share.
- Thyrocare Technologies: The diagnostics chain had declared a final dividend of ₹7 per share.
Shares of Asian Paints are down 3% for the year so far, while those of HUL are down close to 6% so far.
