ASK Private Wealth CIO advises increasing allocation to inflation-resilient assets

Date:

ASK Private Wealth Chief Investment Officer Somnath Mukherjee advises long-term investors to stay disciplined and avoid trying to time market bottoms amid ongoing global uncertainties. He highlights that inflation and elevated interest rates are likely to persist, making asset allocation more important than entry points. Mukherjee suggests increasing exposure to hard assets like metals and gold. He added West Asia disruptions are expected to have a greater impact on Q1FY27 compared to Q4FY26, as the effects of supply chain and energy-related uncertainties become more pronounced in the coming quarter.
