Baazar Style Retail shares decline nearly 8% after reporting Q2 business update

Shares of Baazar Style Retail Ltd. declined as much as 8% on Friday, October 3, after the company reported its business update for the September quarter and the first half of the financial year 2026.The company’s standalone revenue and operations increased by 71% to ₹531.9 crore in the second quarter and 55% to ₹909.7 crore in the first half of FY26, in comparison to the respective periods last year.

Its sales per square feet were at ₹865 per month in the second quarter and ₹768 per month in the first half of FY26.

As of September 30, the company had a total of 250 stores, with total rental area of 22.96 lakh square feet. During the second quarter, it added 20 new stores and closed two outlets. In the first half of this fiscal, it added 42 new stores and closed six outlets.Its same store sales growth (SSSG) was at 22% in the second quarter while it was at 10% in the first half of FY26.

Shares of Baazar Style Retail declined 7.8% to hit an intraday low of ₹347.55 apiece. The stock has snapped a four-day losing streak. The stock was down 6.2% at ₹353.6 apiece around 3.15 pm.
