BEML wins ₹294-crore order from Defence Ministry for supply of HMV 6X6

State-owned BEML Limited on Wednesday (July 23) said it has secured an order worth approximately ₹293.82 crore from the Ministry of Defence for the supply of high mobility vehicles (HMV) 6×6.”…we hereby inform that BEML Limited has bagged an order from the Ministry of Defence for the supply of HMV 6X6 with a contract value of Rs. 293.82 crores approximately,” according to a stock exchange filing.

Fourth quarter results
BEML posted a net profit of ₹287.5 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2025, marking a 12% increase from ₹257 crore in the same period last year. Revenue rose 9.1% year-on-year to ₹1,652.5 crore, compared to ₹1,514 crore in Q4 FY24, supported by a healthy performance across segments.
Also Read: BEML wins export orders worth $6.23 million from CIS region, UzbekistanThe company’s EBITDA stood at ₹422.6 crore, up 13.9% from ₹371 crore a year ago, while operating margins improved to 25.57% from 24.5% in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. The healthy margin expansion reflects improved cost controls.

While the board of directors has deferred a decision on the final dividend for FY25, BEML had already declared a second interim dividend of ₹15 per equity share (150%) earlier in May.

BEML, headquartered in Bengaluru, is a key manufacturer of earthmoving, rail, transport, and mining equipment. Shares of BEML Ltd ended at ₹4,286.10, down by ₹58.70, or 1.35%, on the BSE.
